This started off kind of simple until I got annoyed at an ad, so now I give you two rants for the price of one.  I don't listen to the radio much, and only Sirius, but I did watch "American Idol" this year and I also know that some "artists" are haunting me.

My dad bought this because he's a "Doctor Who" geek.  Billie Piper played Rose Tyler on the show, but she started her career as a pop singer.  You might have seen her before if you watch British television.  She's currently on "Secret Diary of a Call Girl," but she's had her teeth fixed since her original appearance on "Doctor Who."  Like many ( Read more... )

If you've ever heard Jay Chou's "梯田" ("Rice Fields") or A-Yue's "小星星" ("Little Star"), then you've heard Amis chanting.  (The first is, of course, a Han performing a chant based on Amis chanting and the latter is an Amis chanting in his tribal language, but both are, nonetheless, Amis chants from Taiwan.)
